The Centre of Mediation is made up of a general assembly and an office.

General assembly

This is made up of all the lawyers registered on the Association of the Charleroi Bar who are authorised to act as mediators in civil and commercial matters as well as family and/or social matters. It meets at least once a year, and is convened by the chairperson of the office.

The office

• a chairperson (who must be an authorised mediator),
• an authorised mediator in civil and commercial matters,
• an authorised mediator in family matters,
• an authorised mediator in social matters,
• the current year's President of the Bar
• a Councillor of the Board designated by the latter.
